I‘m featuring some really talented Artists/ Graphic Designers on the blog today who truly left me mesmerized with their art. I came across these artists courtesy my friend Yogesh Shirke who’s also a graphic designer/ artist.
Big Appetites is a collection of photographs taken by fine artist Christopher Boffoli that captures miniature toys in environments of real world food. Each photograph is accompanied with a caption that brings a smile to your face after the image of the food sets your mouth drooling.
Most folks who were born in the ’80s have fond memories of playing Super Mario and other video games on their Nintendos and Ataris. These gaming consoles had an 8-bit processor and the animation style was pixelated because the gaming world was still in its infancy. As the years went by, better gaming consoles came in and the 8-bits drifted into anonymity. Since the past few years, the 8-bit has reinvented itself and continues to survive as an art form in the new era. Let’s look at the evolution of the 8-bit to the form of aesthetic it has now become.
The world’s going gaga over Instagram and its aesthetic filters that make the most mundane objects looks beautiful. After conquering the iOS market, the app has also made inroads in Android phones. With Instagram amassing such popularity, the folks in Bollywood have decided to incorporate Instagram’s style and filters in their posters; three of which have caught my gaze.
