With the super success of the Marvel comics movie ”The Avengers‘, will DC make a movie featuring its own motley crew of superheroes the ‘Justice League‘? The bros at Warner must have definitely awoken from their slumber to initiate that film. But imagine if Pixar would get its hands on a movie on the ‘Justice Leauge’. Artist Daniel Araya gives us a chance to sample the movie with his concept art.

Pixar is a beloved animation studio that is popular for its style of animated movies that entertain as well as touch the heart. Pixar movies aren’t only meant for kids but also adults. The studio truly creates movies that are in a league of their own and their films are considered classics by cinema lovers. Pixar’s roster of movies includes Toy Story, Up, WALL-E, etc.

Daniel Araya envisions the characters of DC’s ‘Justice League’ as if they were to be created by the animation studio Pixar. Pixar will never ever make a version of ‘Justice League’ as the studio is associated with Disney and Disney is the owner of Marvel Comics. Daniel Araya’s fan art hence gives us an insight into how the world of ‘Justice League’ would look if it were to be made by the popular animation studio. His illustration of characters reflects Pixar’s distinct style (especially the way he’s made Superman) but at the same time makes the characters look gritty, a trait that’s needed in a group that fights to keep evil at bay (this is clearly visible in his sketch of Wonder Woman and Batman, they bloody mean business).

So, presenting the reimagined version of ‘Justice League’ made in the style of Pixar:

(Comic Book Trivia: For those who’re raving about ‘The Avengers’ and how cool they are, the series is actually a rip off of DC’s ‘Justice League’. In an attempt to match DC’s successful series, Marvel created its own mash up of superheroes. But Marvel did beat DC in making a movie on their superhero clique.)

What’s your source for saying Justice league was a rip off?

In retrospect, I think it was a bit harsh and brazen of me to make a claim like that. The Justice League got its own title in Oct. 1960 where as the Avengers came forth on Sept. 1963. DC and Marvel have always been inspired from each other and keep making adaptations of popular characters. But you can always claim that DC characters are also inspired from heroes from the past (Batman from Zorro).

Justice league is not a rip
off. The author said The avengers was a rip off of the justice league.

      ‘The Avengers’
and how cool they are, the series is actually a rip off of DC’s ‘Justice League’

      What is his
source I don’t know, however The Justice League first appeared in 1960  in the The Brave and the Bold.
The Avengers was not first introduced until 1963, three years after the justice
      league.

      It was also only introduced
after the justice league had become a big hit and it’s popularity was reaching
      new bonds.

      whether
you can say it ripped the justice league off is something you can decide for
      yourself.

I think Batman and Superman’s faces totally capture their personalities. And I love that Wonder Woman looks like a slightly-disheveled badass!

I totally agree. Superman’s baby face depicts his innocence and ‘Boy Scoutiness’ where as Batman seems poised to kick some ass.
