Born an Indian, Died as a Qatari – That is how the world will remember MF Husain. Often dubbed the “Picasso of India”, MF Husain passed away in Royal Brompton Hospital, United Kingdom. Husain was on a self imposed exile since 2006 after some of his controversial nude paintings of Hindu deities led to life threats. His paintings may have stirred up a controvery, but there is certainly no denying the fact that MF Husain was one of the most talented artists in India and the World.

Digital Analog brings you some of his less controversial paintings as a tribute to the legend.
