Google may team up with Samsung for the launch of Nexus 2.0 according to the rumors from various sources. According to Android and Me, Google will announce this project in the upcoming conference in New York.

Nexus 2.0 will have Google Android Gingerbread 3.0 running on its system. Nexus One was used by Google as a template to show the world how the Android OS is operating. Now using Nexus 2.0 for its next big release is in Google’s Agenda.

This might be an attempt by Google to preserve the sanity of the Android OS and keep it away from the tainted motivations of manufacturers and carriers.
