Google Chrome 8.0.552.18 is now available for download through the Dev channel for all the developers working on Google Chrome. Google Chrome’s latest build 8.0.552.18 is designed for testers working on all the platforms.

With this build, Google Chrome 8.0.552.18 adds no new feature to its repertoire but improves the quality of browsing.

“This release addresses a number of stability and polish issues found in the previous release,” noted Jason Kersey from the Google Chrome team.

With this release, Google has still not disclosed the release of Google Chrome 8 beta. In addition to Google Chrome 8.0 Dev, early adopters can also get the first taste of Chrome 9.0 via the Chromium project.

Chromium 9.0 which was released last week has now moved to Chromium 9.0.565.0.
