Open source communities have been buzzing with the release of Diaspora’s code in Github. Diaspora is ranked 10th most popular project in Githhub.
Githhub has 423+ forks of Diaspora to date, and about a half a million views of the code as well. Many people have gotten the alpha running on their own machines, and have provided countless bug reports and feature requests.
The first week of Diaspora source code being released has been a huge hit. Project releases like this just don’t happen every day. Let us all support this project with great interest.
